The final chapter of Driven by Her brought the series into the present day.
Partnering with filmmaker Fanny Hötzeneder, the brief centred on the new Mercedes-Benz GLC, exploring the car not through performance figures or technical specifications, but through the way it fits into everyday life.
Inspired by Mercedes-Benz’s Welcome Home philosophy, the film set out to show that great design isn’t just about how something looks. It’s about how it makes you feel.
Rather than placing the GLC on an empty mountain road or a race circuit, Fanny took it somewhere far more familiar.
Set within everyday environments, the film explored the relationship between people, objects and the spaces they inhabit. Female creatives became the focus, with the car acting as part of the story rather than the centre of it.
Subtle references to Mercedes-Benz’s heritage, including archive footage of Bertha Benz, connected the brand’s past with its future, creating a film that felt both contemporary and unmistakably Mercedes.
